Special Winter Pruning Drop-Off
March 6, 13, 20, 27
7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Public Works—11522 Minnetonka Blvd.
The city forester recommends November through March as the ideal time to prune oak trees. To assist residents with their winter pruning the brush drop-off will be open the four Saturdays in March. Even old Christmas trees will be accepted!
The brush drop-off program for Minnetonka residents opens Monday, April 12, and will remain open until November 20.
On Monday and Tuesday the site is open from noon to 8 p.m. On Saturdays, the site is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The brush drop-off site will be closed Memorial Day (May 31), Labor Day (Sept. 6), and Independence Day (observed July 5).
Branches up to 12″ in diameter will be accepted. This service is available only to Minnetonka residents and a valid I.D. is required to show proof of Minnetonka residency. No brush will be accepted from commercial tree or lawn services.
Please note: Trash, grass, loose leaves, lumber, or wood scraps are not accepted. Do not bring these materials with your load of brush. Do not put grass, loose leaves, dirt, or sod in with the brush pile. Find the appropriate disposal option for the unacceptable items.
